Episode 9

Sh/Itt

Shy wakes up Itt, he decided that today is gonna be a great day. No cutting, no bingeing, he even thought to put an end to smoking.

“Hey, how about you and me spend the day together?” Shy said excitedly.

“Wow, you are in such a good mood today.  What gives?” Itt said curiously.

“Nothing but I just woke up with my favorite person in the world, I’m so glad that you came to live
with us.  It’s like a dream come true”.

“Well, don’t get used to it.  I do have to get back to New
  York eventually?” Itt says.

“Well, Itt, I just so happens to have tickets to New York,
TODAY!!!” Shy says enthusiastically.

“Alright cool, let’s go”.  Itt says matching Shy’s enthusiasm.

They arrive in New   York and taxied to Times Square.  Shy spreads his arms wide and spins around
while looking up at the city lights.  He is smiling and laughing and feels no one can take is joy away.  Itt grabs Shy from the back and lifts him and continue to spin him until they both fall on the ground.  They are laughing hysterically so much that tears are falling from their face.  They
are genuinely happy and joyful.  Itt grabs Shy hand and they start to run down the streets dodging people and believing that they are the only one’s there. Itt stops and realized that he is standing in front of Stacy’s apartment.  He looks up to the window to see if a light is on.  It’s completely
dark and suddenly all the streets lights are out.  Itt looks around and notice that Shy is no
longer there.  A car squeals off burning rubber.

“SHYYY!!!!” Itt yells. 

Itt stands there wondering what should be his next move. Just as he goes up on the stoop his mother, Stacy, runs up to him but he
don’t recognize her.  “You got something, nigga?” she says as she barely can stand. Itt has a disgusted look on his face and pushes her off.  He starts to run in the direction he seen the
car go. 

“You looking for something?” a voice from above speaks.

Itt stops and he looks around the darkness of the streets, he looks up and see a diminutive
light with an outlined head figure.

“Hello!” Itt yells.

“You looking for something?”

“My friend is missing”.

A steal door squeaks as it opens slowly and bright light escapes into the darken New
  York streets.  Itt starts to walks cautiously to the door and inside the light is too
intense for Itts’ eyes, he covers them with the back of his right hand.  He slowly walks inside.

“Where’s my friend?”

As he walks in the blinded lit room he trips over an object on the concrete floor. 

A 6 foot 1 inch 175 lb Shy lays stretch out.  Shy don’t appears to be
moving.  Itt scrambles himself up and moves over to Shy.  He puts his ear to
Shys’ heart and he doesn’t hear or feel a beat. He starts to shake Shy and slaps him, with no victory Shy continues to
be unresponsive.  Itt gets up and runs
out of the building only to be surprise that its daylight.  He looks at both his hands and they are cover
with a red sticky object.  People are walking down the pavement passing Itt and looking at him strange.  He is covered with questionable red stains.  He tries to grab strangers for help and they
just continue to shuffle pass him.  He runs back into the building and sees a trail of red and ahead is a figure dragging Shy into a dark room.  He runs
with the attempt to save Shy and the door slams. 

“Shy!  Shy! Shy!” he screams as he pounds on the door.

Itt feels a hand placed on this shoulder and he turns around and there stands Shy.

“I’m here.  I’m here”, Shy says frightened.

Itt opens his eyes and Shy stands over him with his hands on Itt’s shoulders.

“I’m here.  I’m here.”

Itt lifts his body up and pulls Shy into him and kiss him passionately.

“Shy?” Carla says.

Shy and Itt jumps out of their embrace, embarrassed.
